The SY-Science team is involved in medical research and development endeavors related to cardiopulmonary arrest and resuscitation, traumatic brain injury and medical modeling and simulation. Senior SY-Science staff members have extensive experience in emergency hypothermia techniques and capabilities that may potentially save the lives of otherwise unrecoverable victims of trauma and cardiac arrest unresponsive to defibrillation

Similarly, SY-Science staff is involved in medical imaging capabilities and new techniques that are potentially diagnostic and helpful in monitoring functional changes in traumatic brain injury, post-traumatic stress disorder and other brain conditions.

SY-Science has been involved in planning and developing potential medical modeling and simulation capabilities specifically for training first responders and bystanders to respond to emergency and/or mass casualty scenarios.
